Nepal offers a beautiful mix of culture, adventure, and natural beauty, making it a great destination for a short getaway. Here's a 2-day itinerary that covers Kathmandu and Pokhara, two of the most iconic destinations in Nepal.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu & Exploration

Morning: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival Tips:

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Day Trip to Pokhara

Morning: Early Breakfast & Travel to Pokhara

Breakfast:

Travel to Pokhara:

Take an early morning tourist bus or domestic flight to Pokhara (6-7 hours by bus or 25 minutes by flight). If you take the bus, enjoy scenic views of the mountains and countryside during the journey.



Late Morning: Pokhara Lakeside & Phewa Lake

Pokhara Lakeside:

Upon arrival in Pokhara, head to the Lakeside area near Phewa Lake. Rent a boat and take a leisurely ride on the lake, surrounded by the stunning views of the Annapurna Mountain Range.


Barahi Temple:

Visit Barahi Temple located on an island in the middle of Phewa Lake. It's one of Pokhara's most important landmarks and offers great photo opportunities.
